Tori Hadaway

Psychotherapist

Hi, I am Tori !

Prior to starting my counselling career, I had over a decades worth of experience working with children and young adults between the ages of 3 months-19 years old in various mainstream and private educational settings; which included providing care and support to children with complex needs such as,  Autism/Asperger’s,  ADHD,  and other mental health needs/difficulties. However, in 2012, I had a life changing accident at work, which left me unable to work or continue my studies for 6 years; however, I was committed and determined to not let a ‘bump in the road’ alter my goal of being able to help others and become a counsellor.

I am now a fully qualified counsellor with a Masters in Clinical Counselling from the University of Chester; with over 4 years experience counselling clients with various concerns (as listed below). I am also a Registered Member(MBACP) of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP), and currently working towards my accreditation

How do I work?
As a Person-Centred Therapist, I will support you through exploring your own thoughts, feelings and experiences, as I believe that no one understands you as much as you do. I will listen without judgement, and help you explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe, confidential and therapeutic environment.
